Good Sports Recognised

Matildas: The World at Our Feet has again been recognised – this time with a nomination at the ASC Media Awards. The six-part series is nominated in the Best Sport Profile – Broadcast category. The finalists will be announced at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 21 February 2024.

Matildas Brace for AACTAs

The Matildas have scored big time with two nominations for the prestigious 2024 AACTA Awards. Matildas: The World at Our Feet is in the running for Best Documentary or Factual Program, while Katie Bender Wynn has been nominated in the Best Direction in Nonfiction Television category.

Shipwreck Soundos Soar

The Shipwreck Hunters Australia sound recordists are winners at the 2023 Australian Screen Sound Guild Awards. Josh Hogan, Ned Beckley, Jason North, Lucy Torvaldsen, Gavin Repton, Trevor Hope ASSG, Glenn Martin and Nat Neugebauer won the Best Sound for Lifestyle, Reality or Factual Entertainment.

Matildas Score Early at SPA

Matildas: The World at Our Feet is a finalist at the 22nd Screen Producers Australia Awards. The documentary series will line up in the Documentary Program or Series Production of the Year category. Winners will be announced at Screen Forever on the Gold Coast on  21 March 2024.

Shipwreck Hunters Australia has made headlines around the world, discovering a historic wreck lost at sea 111 years ago. The Finnish-owned cargo ship Glenbank was discovered in the Dampier Marine Park, Western Australia. More than 20 crew members died when Glenbank sank at sea in a gale.
