Barking Mad Productions’ mission is to create and deliver premium documentary and factual programs with integrity and purpose. We tell authentic, character-driven stories with heart and purpose. We want to tell stories that surprise and delight you. Most importantly, we want as many people as possible to watch and be moved by our programs.

We recently delivered A Symphonic Odyssey with Professor Brian Cox for ABC as well as Matildas: The World at Our Feet for Disney+. We’ve produced Inside the Sydney Opera House (ABC) with Fremantle and Shipwreck Hunters Australia (Disney+) with VAM Media and Terra Australis. We also produced Claremont: A Killer Among Us (Channel 10/Paramount) with Joined Up Films. In 2021, we produced the documentary Fightback Farmers: Feeding Australia Together for the ABC.

Steve Bibb – who served as executive producer on all these titles – founded Barking Mad Productions. He’s one of Australia’s most respected creatives and is the former Head of Factual at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Steve has produced hundreds of hours of programs for broadcasters around the world.
